Pretty much like the subject says. On the Web-Based News Reader (http://www.digitalmars.com/webnews/newsgroups.php?search_txt=&group=digitalmars.D), if you're viewing a message that has "Recent messages in this thread", and click on a link for one of the messages, you'll be taken to the wrong message - typically in a completely different thread. |

Yup; this is a pretty well-known bug. Web-News is old & rather on the terrible side; I would suggest using a newsreader.

Posted in reply to Robert Fraser | The nice thing about havng a (working) web-based one, though, (aside from being usable on a public web terminal), is that you can run searches against the entire archive without having to download every message.
