Hi,

I am sure std.parallelism and vibe.d both have futures/channels/executors systems as there appears not to be anything in Phobos as a futures system. Or am I wrong here?

What is needed is a futures system with a single threaded executor system that
can be integrated with GtkD so as to make something for D akin to what is
happening in gtk-rs.
