https://issues.dlang.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12552 Issue ID: 12552 Summary: Review DMD's Static Analysis as Produced by Intel's C++ Compiler Product: D Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P1 Component: DMD Assignee: nobody@puremagic.com Reporter: blah38621@gmail.com Created attachment 1344 --> https://issues.dlang.org/attachment.cgi?id=1344&action=edit An archive containing the 6mb static analysis results This is being created as an issue primarily to make it more accessible, but I have attached the static analysis produced by Intel's C++ Compiler in a little under 24 hours for DMD. In my brief analysis of the results, it appears to have caught some things that are in fact bugs. The .pdr file inside of the archive is really just an xml file, so you can open it in whatever editor you want. The results are from DMD's git head, as it was roughly 2 weeks ago. The easiest way I've found to review the results is by using a regex that exploits the fact that all issue numbers are preceded by a # symbol. The last pattern I used in my editor was this: #(?!12112|12121|12144|12172|12192|12291|12382|12390|12412)[0-9]+ This allows you to locate issues that you haven't excluded via the regex. I would suggest starting with the list of issues completely empty, as I may have excluded some issues so I could see others. -- |
