We have been experiencing some issues with regards to the codecov uploader. These issues have been encountered by others too https://community.codecov.com/t/commit-sha-does-not-match-circle-build/4266/2 .

Once codecov fix their problems with the uploader, we can re-enable the codecov
test:

An alternative workaround worth trying is to pass the CODECOV_TOKEN to the uploader as specified in the first link.
