I don't have good answers for your questions, as I didn't write the resource editor. It's going to get some work done on it in a couple months, and I'm saving all your bug reports! As to reading the files off of the CD, are you able to just xcopy the entire CD onto your hard disk? If not, and the CD is defective, I can send you a new one.

In the past I've used the resource editor for my Watcom C++ as well (theirs is pretty horrible), and found it hard to make fit. The DMC++ IDDE has no trouble, so are ways to steer the resource editor?

No need to send me a new one, it seems a combo of the CD, my CD-ROM. I can copy all files easily when I pop it into the Plextor CD-R drive. But thanks for the offer.
