Don't apologise, for speaking a possible unpopular truth. Women are completely mad. But I suppose we are, too, from their perspective.

And this is from someone who was raised in an all female household from an early age (after my dad died), and had mostly female friends well into his 20s. I think the older we get, the more the gap widens. Whether this is socialisation or innate, who knows?

I think that if we (and I mean all of us who take part of this ng) continued
this thread, this could easily become the longest thread ever. So I'm just
gonna say: 1) I don't think it's hard to understand men (being as simple as
we are, who couldn't understand us? :D); 2) I don't think I'll ever know
exactly what any woman wants; 3) And in spite of (2), we need them anyway.

Probably as with any other programming NG, about 1 in 1,000.

Is it socialisation, or is it innate? <G>

(I'm being rhetorical. We can't possibly start a debate on this, can we?!)

(( btw, I just think it's fab that this NG allows us to wander a bit. Other NGs are monitored by far too many pedants, which makes them dry, to say the least. Apart from being interested in the language, I come to the D NG because we have a lot of fun. Long may that continue. ))
