I did come across a bit thick-like. No ill-will was intended. I guess I'm a bit more client-focused because my company sells software for a living. I'm used to providing support for clients, which are usually large organizations, and they can be a bit demanding than the man-on-the-street. -- Derek Parnell Melbourne, Australia 18/08/2005 7:25:56 AM |

I just reorganized things a bit and added the docs and such. (NOTE: As of yet, only the Windows build scripts have been tested - nothing has been tested on Linux yet, though the Makefiles are there and ready to go).

I'll probably put some downloads up in the future, but for now it's too much of a hassle for me to deal with. Besides, the forum (which is linked to from the project page) has a nice explanation of how to get the files from SVN, and dsource has information on how to obtain and use an SVN client.

For now, I just can't be bothered. I've got more important things on my plate to deal with. I update when I can or when the urge takes me. If you intend to use any DSource projects, get used to SVN!
Acknowledged. But it would be nice if projects would include a couple of lines:
1) I last tested this build with dmd version n.nnn
2) The svn tree was last updated on dddd/dd/dd
N.B.: This isn't directed at any particular project, but rather at ALL projects.

I fix any showstoppers immediately. Although I don't add new things often, it is a goal that the trunk is always compilable with the latest DMD. > 2) The svn tree was last updated on dddd/dd/dd A few projects do this, Derelict included, via sticky threads in the forums. |
