Yes I got it.

Just haven't been able to do anything about it yet -- the ship's on fire again, proverbially speaking, at work. (No surprise, it's a large and complex system written in C with smatterings of C++, which has passed through dozens of hands. I leave the current state of the code to your imagination.)
