I use Sublime 2, Notepad++ and as IDE currently Mono-D. But I will try this evening VisualD.

I use it because it's easy to configure, starts fast, loads big files fast (compared to e.g. Sublime text), it seems to not break on any funky new git-head version of D, and it's open-source.

I've installed Visual Studio Shell + Visual-D but haven't used it much yet.
